Haha...ya know OG, this really upset my wife. She thought everything she was watching was the real deal. I know in a way it is, but you know that so many shots are rehearsed, made up and shown over and over again. It’s like when Lisa was stuck in her truck during that blizzard, my wife was saying, “I hope she makes it through this”. OF COURSE SHE WILL….THERE’S A CAMERA CREW WITH HER….SHE’S NOT GONNA DROP DEAD! I was watching a show about ERA Alaska and they had their chief pilot landing on a sandbar in a river. He had to touch down right at the very edge and partially in the water. They made it really suspenseful and had a perfect shot of him landing. The landing shot was taken on the ground how do you think the camera crew got there? |

Wish I could have seen the truck number when Lisa was hunkered down. Winshield and radiator all snowed in. Sub zero. How they going to start the truck? Four days on battery power, not keeping the batteries up? Lisa in there with no heat? Give me a break. I know there are diesel fueled heaters in some trucks, she would have had to have hers going, don't you think that would have had some effect on the windshield temp? Those Beers clowns must think their audience is a bunch of morons. |

It was the same truck she's always in. What they didn't mention, I think, is that she spent those 4 days in Coldfoot so she had fuel to run her truck all that time and the bathrooms were just right inside the truck stop. They didn't mention any of that, had to make it seem more dangerous of course. |

I don't think she was in Coldfoot. She said the camp she was in didn't have food. Coldfoot isn't a camp and it does have food. Most camps have a cafeteria for the workers there but smaller ones don't. |

Just re-watched the beginning of the episode, Lisa was in fact stuck in Prudhoe. If you look she's parked next to a building with a light on top, so she could have plugged the block heater in right there. Also, in a couple of the shots of the truck covered in snow you can clearly see C-1680 on the side of the hood. |

Guess we should explain camps, or man camps as they are often called. These are up in the oil fields. They have dormitory type buildings and cafeterias. The people normally work two weeks on and two weeks off of three weeks on two off, etc. 12 hour shifts. |
